A comprehensive series of upgrades helped ensure the 30-year-old Effluent Treatment Facility (ETF) is prepared to carry out its wastewater processing mission when Direct-Feed Low-Activity Waste (DFLAW) operations begin. The facility is a vital component in the complex chain of facilities that support 24/7 conversion of liquid waste to a safe, solidified glass form.
